The Dental Foundation Training (DFT) Educational Supervisor (ES) application process.

The application and re-application process for Educational Supervisors has now gone live on the HEE website, but does close in just over 4 weeks (12.00 Friday 23rd December 2022:

With the disaggregation of Midlands and East Region into East of England and Midlands Regions, the process for appointing Educational Supervisors has been updated.

All current Educational Supervisors will follow a similar application pathway. Whether you are currently in the midst of a multi-year appointment and undertaking a Performance Review or have reached the end of a multi-year appointment and are re-applying for 2023-34, you will use the same form.

In addition, the Dental Therapist Foundation Training Scheme, running at present across Midlands and East of England Region will be expanded, and each Region will be running its own Dental Therapist Foundation Training Scheme. The same form is used for Application for Dental Therapist Foundation Training as is for Dental Foundation Training. You can apply for both programmes in one application, but you will be asked to state your preference of programme to which you would be appointed.
