10 year plan and NHS consultation document

NHSE has opened a Consultation process that enables you to comment and make suggestions on the proposed changes to the dental contract quality and payment reforms.

The details and how to respond to the consultation are available here

There will be no new money available, and the changes are designed to deliver the government's commitment to 700,000 more urgent dental care appointments every year, better support for patients with complex treatment needs and encourage the delivery of more preventative care.

This may impact practice/working patterns and affect core patients, as ICB Commissioners will decide with contract holders the level of urgent care that must be prioritised and delivered.
